Jeannie worked in corporate America for a myriad of well-known large corporations such as AmerenUE, Wells Fargo, Charter Spectrum, and Van De Kamp’s. She held titles from Executive Assistant to IT Project Coordinator, Business Analyst, and EDI Sales Order Administrator. She started writing “Baal, The Covenant Breaker”, in 2010 after the Lord told her that this spirit was perpetrating a generational curse in her husband’s family, and later, she learned, her own family.
She also saw that the Lord was showing her corporate America was held captive by this spirit. When the Lord told her Baal was the strongman over America in 2010, no one in the body of Christ was talking about this spirit. She cried out to God about this silence. Thirteen years later, the year her book was published, the body of Christ seemed to explode with that same word she heard in 2010 and were prophesying about battling Baal. Now there are other books about Baal, but at the time the Lord told her about the generational curse in her family, there wasn’t anyone writing about Baal. She wrote this book because she wanted to provide the body of Christ an answer to the question of why other Christians or non-Christians are betraying, back-stabbing, and simply just being treacherous. Is there someone in your office you dread speaking to because you know they will always take from you in some way? Are you the person that it seems your work is used, but you never receive the accolades for your hard work? Does your boss never have your back? Jeannie’s research into this spirit in the Bible confirmed every attribute of this spirit she experienced battling it in her life. Baals won’t communicate. Babbler + (to keep in) was in the Bible. Baals are behind driving friends from your life.
For the word “broken”, companionship, friendship, and having company were found. You’ll be astounded, amazed and on your face as Jeannie was realizing God is showing Himself to be right in our midst today, relevant to our problems and culture today, and hidden right in our midst. Jeannie also wanted to write this book to confront head-on the civil war taking place in the body of Christ today. Does God want us healthy and wealthy? What does God have to say about those that oppose those that preach health and wealth are promised to us? That say these are just out to gather money and jet planes for themselves? And how is Baal involved? No one is talking about this civil war. Jeannie deals with it using scripture, not opinion. Division in the body of Christ should end reading this book.
